10 years! An entire decade since I launched my first website in May 2016.
Looking back, I couldn’t have imagined where that road would take me. What started as a solo consultant’s vision has evolved into a trusted strategic partnership for businesses navigating digital transformation and CRM implementation.
Opening our Boxworks office in 2017 marked a turning point – it meant we could expand our reach and deepen our impact. Then came the complete rebrand in 2020, a moment when we stepped back and asked ourselves: who are we really, and what do our clients actually need? That clarity led us to specialise in CRM and Digital Transformation – the areas where we could deliver the most value.
Going back to UCD for postgraduate qualifications in Digital Transformation Management and Project Management (with distinction!) wasn’t just about credentials. It was about staying ahead, understanding the latest frameworks, and ensuring our advice was grounded in current best practice.
The features in leading publications, the podcast appearances, and the awards have been wonderful recognition. But they’ve never been the goal.
My real measure of success lies with the incredible people I’ve had the privilege to work with, and the transformations we’ve achieved together.
It’s the businesses that came to us, overwhelmed by legacy systems and left with streamlined, integrated solutions. It’s the teams that went from siloed and frustrated to collaborative and empowered. It’s the leaders who gained clarity on their digital strategy and moved forward with confidence.
That’s what these 10 years have been about.
So, what’s next?
As I celebrate this milestone, I’m more energised than ever about what’s possible. The pace of digital change isn’t slowing down – if anything, it’s accelerating, especially with AI on the scene. And that means the businesses that get their foundations right, that invest in the right tools and processes, and that partner with someone who understands both the why and the how – they’re the ones that will thrive.
If you’re at a point where you know digital transformation is necessary but you’re not sure where to start, I’d love to talk.
Here’s to a decade of growth, learning, and partnership. And to many more years of turning business challenges into strategic opportunities.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey.
